This policy is implemented to outline RMG’s approach to achieving net zero emissions and our commitments to reducing carbon footprint and waste that is harmful to the environment.

Commitment to achieving Net Zero

RMG Cyber Consulting Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

Carbon Reduction Projects

RMG Cyber has selected a newly constructed building to serve as its headquarters, The selection and design of the building factored carbon reduction in within our criteria, resulting in RMG now occupying a building with PV and Water Solar Panels, which reduces national grid and non-sustainable energy source consumption, Rainwater harvesting and recirculation which reduces fresh water consumption for example within toilet uses, Air source heat pumps which provide cooling and heating at a much more efficient rate than standard A/C units, ultra-low energy LED lighting on timing and motion sensors to reduce waste electrical consumption. The building is equipped with energy monitoring and management system allowing us to track usage and plan targeted reduction efforts. High levels of external insulation coupled with Lossnay heat recovery ventilation system means that thermal energy is not wasted on circulation and external temperatures have reduced impact on consumption.

The new RMG HQ building was made with sustainable construction wherever possible including internal and external materials.

RMG Cyber also wherever possible tries to reduce carbon emissions by promoting benefits for car sharing on journeys where employees are coming from and to a similar location.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as; EV car schemes, more remote working opportunities to reduce travel outside of normal commutes and bike to work schemes where feasible.

Policy Compliance

An employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

The policy is updated and reviewed as part of the continual improvement process. Upon annual review we will be gathering and calculating emissions for the company. As this is first policy creation, we haven’t been able to generate emissions for baseline. So period of 2023/24 shall be deemed base line year and figures generated here on.
